What’s your favorite mantra?

Mantra means “mind instrument” and provides a powerful way to redirect our thoughts. Choosing a mantra each day means we are living our lives based on an intention; what we focus on expands and we see what we look for so choosing a mantra is an important part of living a mindful life.

Check out some of our favorite mantras in the video and give this quick daily practice a try if it resonates with you ❤️

Mantra Practice: Take 2-3 minutes in the morning:

• Exhale all of the air your have in your lungs
• Inhale for a count of 4, exhale for a count of 5, imagining the inhale is opening up any constricted or tense areas in your body, exhale and tension.
• Pick a mantra that speaks to you or ask yourself “what do I feel I could use to help me through this day to make it the best it can be?” Use that as your mantra, example: I am patient, I am clear, I am strong, I am brave, I am calm, I am capable, I am energized etc.
• Once you have your mantra, place one hand on your belly and one hand on your heart, close the eyes and focus on the space between your eyebrows, focus on taking deep breaths while silently repeating the mantra for at least 60 seconds
•Seal the practice by asking that all of your thoughts, words and actions during your day be in alignment with your mantra, give yourself a quick hug or pat on the back and begin your day ❤️
